Vivo X100 and X100 Pro move from China to other regions. The two devices were initially launched on November 13, but only in Vivo's homeland. Now, according to The Verge, the regular X100 is aimed at several Asian markets, including India and India. Meanwhile, the X100 Pro is headed to Europe.
This migration means the X100 follows in the footsteps of its predecessor, the Vivo X90, which saw a similar system when it launched earlier this year. At least for now, Vivo has no plans to release any phones in the US, although we expect that to change sooner or later.
A larger than life camera
The advantage of the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro is the one inch sensor. It's quite large in terms of smartphones, and is one of the few devices that includes some Xiaomi phones and the Sony Xperia Pro I. In other words, you won't often see a camera that big on a smartphone.
Such a large sensor has its advantages. In our review of the Vivo X90, which also has a capable camera for a smartphone, we said that the photos it produces are actually quite good. We expect similar, if not better, performance from the Vivo X100 and its small smartphone camera sensor struggles.

Price and availability
Exact prices for each region were not yet available at the time this article was written. Vivo told The Verge that the X100 will sell for HK$7,998 and the X100 Pro for HK$7,998 in Hong Kong. Prices are approximately $768/€702 for the X100 model and $1,024/€937 for the X100 Pro model. An exact release date has not been announced.
