Redmi has officially confirmed that the Redmi A3 smartphone will be launched in India on February 14. Along with the launch date, some key specifications of the Redmi A3 have been revealed on a dedicated homepage. The budget smartphone will have a circular rear camera and a dual rear camera.

The Chinese smartphone maker has confirmed that the Redmi A3 will have a 90Hz display and will have up to 6GB of RAM with support for 6GB of virtual RAM. The smartphone is powered by a 5000mAh battery and can be powered by a USB Type-C port.
According to a recent report by Phonerena, the Redmi A3 will sport a 6.71-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels, 90Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The smartphone may be powered by a 12nm MediaTek Helio G36 octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz, coupled with a PowerVR GE8320 GPU for graphics-intensive tasks.
The smartphones offer 4GB and 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of internal eMMC 5.1 storage, expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card slot. The Redmi A3 may come with a dual-SIM setup and run Android 13 Go version.
In terms of optics, the Redmi A3 is likely to come with a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies.
In terms of other specifications, the Redmi A3 may feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Dual 4G VoLTE support, Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm headphone jack, FM radio and 10W fast charging support.
The Redmi A3 is expected to cost around £ 10,000 and could compete with some of the latest budget models from Realme, Motorola, Oppo and others.
