OnePlus Open And Oppo Find N3 Release Date Confirmed

OnePlus Open And Oppo Find N3 Release Date Confirmed

We've been learning a lot about the OnePlus Open lately. Not only is it confirmed to be identical to the Oppo Find N3, but the subsidiaries share design and manufacturing resources to launch in different markets, but now we also know the launch date.

OnePlus hopes the Open will make it to the list of best foldable phones when its device launches on October 19, 2023.

While OnePlus itself has yet to confirm the event, 91Mobiles claims that it will coincide with the launch of the Find N3. Now, Oppo has officially announced its event via the X website (formerly Twitter).

He also posted a direct link on YouTube to follow the event.

We still don't know which regions will get which phones, but since Oppo skipped the UK and never launched the Find N2 foldable phone in the country, it's likely we'll see OnePlus win the Open here.

The Find N3 and OnePlus Open will have a 7.82-inch AMOLED display on the inside and a 6.31-inch display on the front.

Each of these is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset with Adreno graphics. Up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage can be on the board.

It is said to have a 4,805 mAh battery, dual 48-megapixel cameras (main and ultra-wide) and a 64-megapixel periscope lens. As reported, a 32-megapixel camera will be available for selfies.

At least one recent leak also hints at pricing for the OnePlus Open.

Along with several versions of the upcoming foldable phone, WinFuture says the phone will cost "less than $1,700" in the US. We don't know the UK pricing details yet, but if it's accurate, it's less than $100 less than the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5.

Considering the above specifications, the Opena will be a very interesting option for those looking for a foldable phone.

We will know for sure on October 19th.
