Joel Mull was born an Aquarius in 1975 in Stockholm. After receiving his first synthesizer at age six, Joel began his long and successful music career with piano lessons. Between the ages of ten and sixteen, Joel attended music school in Stockholm and spent most of his time playing keyboards and performing various roles. Joel was introduced to electronic music through Kraftwerk and Depeche Mode. As is the case with many contemporary dance music artists, his early musical studies gave him a solid foundation upon which he continued to build. In 1991, at an open-air rave in Stockholm, Joel was introduced to a style of music he had never heard before. He found his passion in technology discovery. Soon Joel started buying mostly house and techno in Stockholm. However, at school he met Adam Burr, who spent his lunch break teaching Joel how to mix and play records using a pair of Technics 1210s he had at home. In 1993, Joel purchased Ensonic modeling and DJ equipment and from that moment confidently entered the world of electronic music. In 1995, Joel decided to start a full-time career as a DJ. Since then, he has continued his musical education, releasing many works and a large selection of records. After numerous releases on various labels around the world, Joel felt it was time to take control of his music, and in 1998 a new project was born: Inside Records. Since then, quality dance techno has been pouring out of their Stockholm studio 12". Teaming up with Adam Burr as "Safety Session", the duo received an overwhelming response upon their release. Being a modern musician with an unusual background and a good ear... led Joel down the electronic path musicians. As a DJ and live artist, Joel has performed in many countries around the world. He has become an artist to watch and follow. Joel Moll is a great example of a successful modern techno artist.
