If not
A new face – or rather lack thereof – appears in this Never Happened family in 2023 When Lane dropped his “Fall 2023 Mixtape” on September 8, he made the cautious decision to include unreleased songs . With Otherwish as the opener; The aforementioned "Let It Fade" officially marked Authorwish's musical debut last November. Otherwise, it would be followed up with their only follow-up, "After All This Time", which earned a spot on track 8's "2023 Winter Mixtape".
While we don't have any details on Otherwish (including an intro), we do know they'll be making their live debut in the new year as part of their North American Never Happened tour. What's more, he's almost guaranteed to be on the list of Never Happened labelmates who have graced Dancing Astronaut magazine's "Artists to Watch" over the years. - Ross Goldenberg

But now last October PARISI hit their stride and soon their release first original song 'Tease', its follow up 'Believe in Myself' and then their live debut in London in November. And as they continue to focus more on their solo projects in the new year, PARISI's past work speaks volumes about their abilities in 2024. - Ross Goldenberg

War years
While "war years" may not be the right word, the name should be "Rico and Mialla". More than a decade after the name, the classically trained producer/singer-songwriter decided to officially launch the label in July. After years of collaboration with Seven Lions, Trivecta, William Black and many others, they are now looking for a new start. In July, on Excision's Subsidia Records, their darker, more mature words played a major role and with their next independent release in October, Years of War will firmly write their new chapter in 2024 . - Ross Goldenberg
