It is important to note that there is no fault or defect with Apple Watches, so this is not the same as a product recall. In fact, during our review, we found the Apple Watch Series 9 to be a major upgrade over the previous models with improved specifications, usability and features.

However, patent litigation means the Apple Watch 9 may no longer be available, so if you want to get your hands on it before Apple stops selling it, scroll down to see where you can still find it in stock.

Apple Watch Series 9 features a new "double-tap" gesture for additional smartwatch controls, a faster S9 processor (an upgrade to the previous model's S8 chipset), a built-in Siri voice assistant, accurate "Find My" device technology, and lighter weight. A screen that could use a good screen protector and more.

For outdoor enthusiasts, the Apple Watch Ultra 2 is a rugged model from the tech company with a titanium case. It's built for extreme athletes and adventurers with up to 36 hours of battery life and rugged durability to keep up with outdoor activities like deep diving, trail running, mountain climbing and more.

So what caused this Apple Watch controversy? The U.S. International Trade Commission has ruled that technology company Massimo is infringing on a patent for the pulse oximeter, one of the Apple Watch's most popular features for reading blood oxygen levels. President Joe Biden has 60 days before the Apple Watch ban goes into effect to assess whether the breach can be removed.

However, the decision does not affect the wallet-friendly Apple Watch SE (2nd generation), which is sold at Walmart for $ 199 or $ 50 off other Apple Watches. Still available at Amazon and other retailers like Target, the Apple Watch Series 8 and original Apple Watch Ultra are also sold online.

It's unclear whether the tech company will sell the Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 after December 24, and Apple hasn't announced the next iteration of the watch. In other words, if you want to get these models, we recommend that you buy them in advance and immediately.
