Weekly Poll: Who Is Getting The New Oppo Find N3 Flip?
Competition is heating up in a niche market. Earlier this week, Oppo brought the Find N3 Flip to the Indian market, with sales starting from October 22 (Sunday next week). The phone costs Rs 95,000, though pre-orders come with a cashback of Rs 12,000 (bringing the price down to $83,000) and a bonus of Rs 8,000 on the older device.

The Indian market is already competitive, let's face it. We have to start with the most famous in the world Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5. Samsung charges Rs 86,000 for the 8/256GB unit. The Find N3 Flip has a better main display with a 6.8-inch LTPO 120Hz panel (with FHD+ resolution) compared to Samsung's 6.7-inch 120Hz (also FHD+). Cover screens are the same in size (3.26 "for Oppo, 3.4" for Samsung). Find N3 is powered by the Snapdragon 9200 to power the smartphone, Samsung has chosen Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 specifically for the Galaxy.

Oppo definitely has the upper hand in the camera department, with a 50MP main (large sensor), 48MP ultra-wide and even 32MP telephoto (47mm lens). Samsung only has two 12 MP modules (wide + ultra wide). The Find N3 Flip is thicker (16.5mm closed vs 15.1mm) and slightly heavier, but it makes up for it with a larger 4300mAh battery with 44W wired charging (3700mAh with 25W wired and 15W wireless).

Next up is Motorola with the Moto Razr 40 (₹50,000) and Moto Razr 40 Ultra (₹90,000). The Ultra model has a 6.9-inch 165Hz LTPO main display and a 3.6-inch (144Hz) flip-top display. It is powered by an older Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and a 3,800mAh battery with 30W wired and 5W wireless charging. Oppo easily wins again with its camera. The Razr 40 Ultra has a 12MP main sensor with a smaller sensor and a 13MP ultra-wide.
It's less capable than the vanilla Moto Razr 40 Ultra and Oppo Find N3 Flip, but some may not want to spend a fortune on a foldable device, so it's worth a look.

Another cheap – well, cheap – foldable is the Techno Phantom V Flip. Despite being cheaper, both the V Flip and Razr 40 have built-in LTPO (120Hz refresh rate for Phantom) displays, though the overlays are too small to use. Their chips are also weak, Dimensity 8050 for Phantom and Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 for Motorola. The V Flip has a 4000mAh battery with 40W wired charging.
