Tecno Phantom V Flip Accessories Listed On Retailer Site, Tip Circular Cover Display

In April, Tecno launched the Phantom V Fold, India's first foldable smartphone. According to reports, a subsidiary of Transsion Holdings is currently preparing to launch a new foldable phone called Tecno Phantom V Flip. Even before Tecno's official announcement, accessories for the Tecno Phantom V Flip appeared on the Chinese retailer's website, hinting at its imminent launch. Alleged cell phone cases point to a round display and dual rear cameras on the Tecno Phantom V Fold.

Chinese e-commerce site Alibaba.com has published a list of alleged protective cases for the Tecno Phantom V Flip. The cases are available in two color variants and cost $10.94 (around Rs. 800). The images show that Tecno is giving the new foldable device an unusual design to make it stand out from the crowd.

The cases feature a round external display on the back of the Tecno Phantom V Flip for quick access to notifications, time and date. Surrounding the secondary screen of the phone are two cameras and an LED flash. The power button and volume rocker are on the right rear. Additionally, it is visible thanks to a pattern of holes.

The specifications of the Tecno Phantom V Flip have changed several times in the past. The new foldable phone is expected to be officially launched in October. It was last seen on the Google Play Console page with the phone model number AD11. The presentation suggests that the upcoming smartphone will come with 8GB of RAM and Android 13 operating system. It is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC and an ARM Mali G77 GPU. The listing shows a Full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2640 pixels and a pixel density of 480 ppi on the flap.

The Tecno Phantom V Flip is expected to feature a dual camera setup at the rear, comprising a 64-megapixel primary rear sensor and a 13-megapixel sensor. It may have a 32-megapixel front camera and is likely to have a 4,000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging.
