Samsung Will Hold Its Annual Developer Conference On October 5
Samsung has announced the official date for its annual SDC23 developer conference. The company will hold an event in San Francisco on October 5 and has already sent out invitations to the press and other media.
This event is all about new technologies being integrated into Samsung devices. This is not a Galaxy Unpacked event. Therefore, participants and viewers should not expect to view the show on large mobile devices. However, Samsung says it will give attendees a chance to learn more about the company's products and platforms. So there's a good chance that Samsung's latest devices will end up here one way or another. The conference will also allow "the first to hear about Samsung's newest technologies".
But here too it is important to lower expectations. This is the developer conference. Most of the topics discussed will relate to development in one way or another. Samsung may introduce elements related to the interface of its smartphones and smartwatches. We also learned about the new possibilities of the SmartThings platform. And frankly, there's a whole world of other possibilities out there. Because Samsung makes a lot of consumer electronics. Of course, you can hear and see a lot about Samsung's smart home systems and mobile applications.
Samsung's official conference schedule isn't just a busy month, it's also a busy week. The next Google Fall Made by Google event will take place on October 4. And now there are rumors that Google may delay the release of the stable version of Android 14 until October 5th. So anything that happens at the Samsung Developers Conference will get attention.
The event's keynote will begin at 10:00 AM PST and is expected to last approximately 1.5 hours. After that, there are about five hours of sessions as well as networking and programming labs. The event concludes with a party that Samsung calls "Bits and Bytes." For developers, this should be a very informative conference with a lot to learn from.
