Samsung Galaxy S24 Release Leak Closes In On IPhone 15 And Pixel 8

The Samsung Galaxy S24 series is expected to debut next year, but a recent leak suggests that we finally have an exact date and it's closer than expected. Over the years, Samsung has slowly moved forward with the launch of the S series, the S23 series was introduced on February 1st and released on February 17th.

However, a recent leak from Tech_Reve on Twitter suggests that Samsung will delay the release of these phones by a month, and Ice Universe has further backed up these rumors. The prolific and often demanding grower said he will be out on January 18th. This could be a direct reaction to push competition to the iPhone 15 series.

We don't know the exact reason behind Samsung's decision to push the Galaxy S24 series (assuming the rumors are true), but we can guess. A previous tweet from Tech_Reve explains how the Galaxy Z series isn't selling as well as the company had hoped, so perhaps this is an attempt to beat out some competition and ensure the Galaxy S24 series doesn't suffer a similar fate.

Samsung will have to wait for Qualcomm's Snapdragon Gen 3, which will power the S24 series, and January is likely to be the earliest possible delivery date. January is also a quiet time for new phones, so Samsung could dominate smartphone coverage at CES 2024.

On the other hand, these details may not be completely irrelevant. Maybe Samsung wants to release this series earlier than usual to make sure it has a chance against the recently released iPhone 15 series.

Usually we only see a switch from iPhone to Android (or vice versa) when big new features that appeal to different personalities are revealed, but Samsung may be looking to reduce the 4-month window for the iPhone S series to 3 months. It makes a difference. True, of course, for the most part, Galaxy users are likely to remain Galaxy users, and the same goes for iPhone fans. The difference between Android and iPhone is profound.
