Samsung is a titan
According to the latest leak, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 phones will feature a new material. The South Korean company will equip its flagship smartphones with titanium.
The Ultra is expected to follow Apple's lead and use a titanium frame. It won't have a major impact on the weight: the new model is said to be 1 g lighter at 233 g. This is of course a switch from aluminum to titanium, while the iPhone Pro will lose some weight by switching to heavier stainless steel. "

Keep your Pixel 8 Pro cool
As the release of the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro approaches, the focus is on the benefits of Google's new Tensor G3 chipset. The new build technology should address one of the main criticisms of the Pixel 7 family...
“Part of the solution will likely be achieved through the use of Samsung Foundry’s FO-WLP packaging process during manufacturing. Several sources report using “slice-level fan processing” for the Tensor G3. This is intended to reduce heat generation during installation. Work more efficiently under load and at other times. In practice, the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro will take longer to cool down, which is exactly what you'd expect from Google's next smartphone. »

Camera software for Pixel 8
Google has updated the camera app to version 9. Notably, the app is only available for Pixel 9 devices, although enterprising developers can expect it to work on other devices as well. Since this app is only available on Android 14, you'll either have to take the risk of joining the beta program or wait for the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro launch to see what's planned.
“As always, Google is limiting its camera app to Pixel devices. Additionally, Google Camera 9.0 will officially only work on Android 14. So the only way to try out Google Camera 9.0 is to enroll your Pixel smartphone in the Android 14 Beta program, which is currently running on Android 14 Beta 5.3. However, Android 14 for Pixel smartphones is expected to reach stable status later this month or by early October at the latest.

Pixel Watch 2 specifications confirmed
Google's video of the Pixel Watch 2, which launches alongside the Pixel 8 family, not only confirmed the upcoming Mountain View wearable, but also revealed some of the features we can expect on the back of the watch:
“You’ll find lots of sensors on the back of the watch. Last year's watch had ECG electrodes on the outside as well as an optical sensor for heart rate and blood oxygen levels as standard. However, they are visible on the Pixel Watch 2. With a smaller configuration. The Pixel Watch 2 is expected to feature permanent electrodermal activity and the updated sensors appear to be adapted to the technology. Finally, you can see that the Pixel Watch 2 has an IP68 rating.

Although Microsoft has talked about adding additional search software to the Surface Duo, the announced window for Android updates and security patches ended this week.
“Microsoft will no longer provide new operating system updates or security patches for the original Surface Duo in the future, meaning Android 12L will be the last version of the operating system it released. he is officially received. The Surface Duo has only received two major operating system updates, one minor. The middle three are most high-end Android devices these days.
