Update: February 13, 2023 (4:46 a.m. ET): The One UI 5.1 update is now rolling out to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4. According to SamMobile , the update is already available in Germany and the Netherlands. Firmware F936BXXU1CWAC. . It may expand to other markets soon.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy S22 series has started getting the One UI 5.1 update with firmware version S90xBXXU3CWAI. Again, the update is limited to European and unlocked phone models only.
It may take a while for the update to start rolling out to carrier-locked phone variants.
Original article: February 13, 2023 (1:33 PM ET): The Samsung Galaxy S23 series comes with One UI 5.1 out of the box. Android 13-based software updates, professional RAW integration, new widgets, mode-based wallpaper selection, and more. This brings several new features to the camera app, including, as of today, limited to the flagship Galaxy S23 phones, but could make its way to the Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy Z Flip 4, and Galaxy Z Fold 4 later this month.
According to information shared by Canadian operator Fido 9 (h/t SamMobile ), the One UI 5.1 update will start rolling out to older Samsung flagships on February 22. If this is true, you can expect the update to roll out to other markets too. Including the United States. However, different carriers and regions have different schedules for releasing new software, so it may take us longer to get back to you.
Samsung hasn't officially announced anything yet, but most smartphones running One UI 5.0 should be eligible for the One UI 5.1 update. The newest programs mentioned above will still be the first to get the new software.
