Vivo X100 Pro: HandsOn With The FeaturePacked Camera Setup
Vivo has made strides in the camera field over the years with its flagship X series. Vivo I have been using the flagship Vivo 2024 for quite some time and spent a lot of time clicking photos in Hong Kong. Here's what's new and improved in the Vivo X100 Pro camera.
This smartphone has a triple rear camera. Powered by a 1-inch 50-megapixel Sony IMX989 sensor, it's accompanied by a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with floating lens technology capable of shooting with 4.3x optical and up to 100x digital zoom, as well as a 50- megapixel ultrawide camera. The field of view is 119 degrees. It's all covered with a Zeiss T* coating that reduces glare on the night lens (a common iPhone phenomenon).
With a few taps on the viewfinder, you can switch between 12 focal lengths, including 15mm (0.6x), 23mm (1x), 28mm (1.2x), 35mm (1.5x), 46mm (2x) , 50mm (2.2x). ), 100mm (4.3x), 135mm (5.8x), 200mm (8.6x), 233mm (10x), 300mm (12.9x), and 600mm (25.8x). As you can see above, this helps to better frame the image in the viewport with a few taps
They are also useful when clicking on landmarks. Vivo has also developed a sunset algorithm that activates when sunset photos are taken. The best part is that you don't need to press any mode to activate it. The algorithm detects the sunset and processes the image to adjust the colors when you click on the image.
Vivo This is further enhanced by the ZEISS-style portrait.
You get modes like Distagon, B-Speed, Biotor, Planar, Cinematic, B-Speed a and others to get special effects on your portraits. It's also fun to play around with messages, as you can customize the focus theme, effect intensity, and more.
I've never had so much fun with macro mode on a phone. You can choose between 1x, 2x, 4.3x and 8.6x in macro mode to zoom in on your subject. Focusing is easy and the background bokeh is pleasing to the eye.
Improved bokeh, the addition of a longer focal length, a great macro mode, and lots of fun camera modes make the Vivo X100 Pro a delight for anyone who takes a lot of photos on their phone. But I'll save my final verdict on this phone for a future review.
