The Vanilla Redmi Note 13 Tipped To Start At $250 For A 6/128GB Configuration
January 4 is approaching and as any Xiaomi/Redmi fan will tell you, it's the international release date for the Redmi Note 13 series (of course, the devices have already been available in China for a few months).

Last week we reported that Xiaomi's plan to roll out the new HyperOS to nearly 100 MIUI devices in 2024 does not include the default HyperOS for the Redmi Note 13.

Now let's talk about prices.

As mentioned earlier, the European prices for the Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ are said to be US$500 for the Note 13 Pro and US$550 for the Redmi Note 13 Pro+.

Now there's finally information on the entry-level Redmi Note 13, and if you're in India, that's great news because you can probably get the aforementioned phone for the ridiculous price of $250.

What do you mean by "$250"?

The tipster revealed the price of the Redmi Note 13 series in India along with several RAM and storage configurations and color options (via MySmartPrice).

According to the latest leak, Xiaomi will offer the Redmi Note 13 in Prism Gold, Arctic White, and Stealth Black colors. As for RAM and storage, there are three options: 6/128 GB, 8/256 GB and 12/256 GB. $252 is the starting price for the Indian market.

Next, the Note 13 Pro could be available in Coral Purple, Midnight Black, and Arctic White. The smartphone is expected to come with the same storage options of 128GB or 256GB, but here the RAM starts at 8GB and goes up to 12GB. The estimated cost for the base model is $350. A clear difference from the supposed European price of $500.

Finally, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ should be available in Fusion Purple, Fusion Black and Fusion White colors. Xiaomi will offer the smartphone in two versions with more RAM and storage. The smartphone will be available in 12GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage configurations and will also start at $430 in India. It should cost $550 in Europe.

What do I get for my money?

Users should experience beautiful and shiny things in terms of hardware and features. Like the 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 200MP main camera, the Pro+ offers IP68 protection, a Dimensity 7200 Ultra chipset (the Pro will likely have a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2) and a 5,100 mAh battery.

The standard Redmi Note 13 5G uses the Dimensity 6080 SoC and all models feature a 16-megapixel front camera. The Pro and Pro+ have optional 8MP and 2MP rear cameras. The battery capacity is 5,000mAh with 33W fast charging.
