Seville To Paris: Putting The Oppo Find N3 Cameras To The Test
The Oppo Find N3 was announced in October, and we reviewed the large foldable device late last month. Sometimes in the midst of all this, we spent several days with the phone traveling around Europe, and the Find Camera was a good companion on the sunny streets of Seville or in the hustle and bustle of cloudy Paris. .
The Find N3 camera system is complemented by Sony's new flagship camera, the LYT-808, part of Sony's new LYTIA lineup, featuring the latest sensor architecture for enhanced light-gathering capabilities. In this sense, it was not particularly experienced by the bright Andalusian sun, but stood out in the dynamic range of the contrasting scenes we encountered. The bright colors of the photographs also perfectly convey the atmosphere of the city.

When we arrived in Paris, it was a completely different story, because not everyone welcomed us so warmly. Colors were hard to come by in the French capital, but the cloudy weather was another test of how well the Find N3's main camera handled challenging lighting.

The 50mm equivalent focal length is a popular choice for street photography, and we found ourselves frequently hitting the 2x button on the Find N3's viewfinder. Although the main camera was used for this task, the phone managed to take fairly accurate pictures; We wouldn't say we'll be missing a dedicated 2x camera any time soon.

However, it's the 3x telephoto lens that sees most of the action. The 64MP high-resolution sensor allows you to capture detailed 16MP images without noise. A viewfinder with a 70mm equivalent focal length and compression is a very interesting combination.

We found that a close-up shot allows us to see the colors of Paris better: a narrower shot allows us to focus on specific objects rather than a wide shot, and to focus more clearly on specific objects we encounter.

One of the main strengths of the telephoto lens is the ability to enlarge images to twice the original standard: the overall diameter of the main camera (24mm) is 6 times larger. Here are more images that show off the benefits of a large, high-resolution smartphone camera sensor. This probably makes more sense than two different special forces.

At the other end of the zoom range, the ultra-wide-angle camera doesn't disappoint either. Surprisingly, dynamic range left a more positive impression than we saw in the standard local scenes in our review; In short, the signal was "better" than "good". Rating. The extreme coverage and bias of opinion is also impressive.

Again, we had to choose interior scenes or close-ups to get some color in Paris, but Find Ultrawide is good for both.

We had the opportunity to take some low-light photos during this trip, but this discovery was made by chance while seeing some of Paris's most famous landmarks. On the other hand, Flamenco's performance showed that the phone was able to perform equally well in low light indoors and the white balance was quite heavy, but the Opp phone was not affected.

As a large foldable device, the Find N3 is extremely versatile in most areas you can think of. And obviously it's better if you look at it from the perspective of a road camera. The three-camera set covers all types of shooting situations at different focal lengths and allows for minimal compromises. And if the price does not include a folding surcharge...
