The result of the time is undoubtedly the foldable phone. Over the past few weeks and months, we've seen an almost continuous stream of new devices hit the market from established brands and new players.
Now comes another amazing device, and it might be here sooner than we think. Oppo Find N3 Flip is a highly anticipated foldable phone. Its predecessor, the Oppo Find N2 Flip, was quite a revolutionary device. At launch, it had the largest clamshell display in a foldable phone, though that title has now been taken by the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra.
According to Max Jambor, the release date of the device is set for August 29. If this date rings true, it's likely that the OnePlus Open will launch on the same day, although it has now been pushed back.
If that turns out to be true, we'll have less than two weeks to see what the device has in store for us. Rumors have already been pretty big, giving us an idea of what the device might look like.
The N3 Flip's camera in particular looks set for a major upgrade. According to a recently released render, the device will use a circular module for the rear camera, next to a vertical overlay display.
This unit has three different sensors. And while no source has confirmed which sensors are present, it's entirely possible that one of them is a telephoto lens . If so, it will immediately be considered one of the most impressive cameras of any foldable phone.
In today's market, most of these devices have to make sacrifices to fit the case dimensions. Often this includes cameras. Even heavy hitters like the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 are a little disappointing, adding a 12MP unit for wide and ultra-wide work, with no telephoto shots.
We also hear that the Find N3 Flip will retain its vertical bezel. This was a unique selling point for the current model, and it's good to see the brand stand on its feet this time around. While the N2 Flip's performance is a bit lackluster, the building's acoustically coated display almost exactly mirrors the dimensions of the exposed internal screen.
