The Magic Phone costs €1599 ($ 1707) in Europe, about €200 ($213) less than the Samsung, highest-priced Tecno Phantom V Fold at $1099. We're looking at flagship iPhone 14 Pro Max price tiers for Android phones like the Fold 4.
Also, since the phone won't be launching in Europe or the US any time soon, you'll have to get it in another international market. That means China, India, North Africa, and Southeast Asia.
When you see the Phantom V Fold, you think of Samsung's latest foldable model. But no two phones are the same. The Tecno phone has a circular camera on the back. Also, the foldable selfie camera doesn't sit below the screen like the Fold 4, with the outer screen slightly curved. And the external, flexible screens are larger than Samsung's.
The biggest difference is related to the folding process. Tecno has developed a waterdrop fold design that is common among Samsung's main competitors. Therefore, the phone does not have a gap between the two sides of the screen like the Z Fold models.
