Between the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, and Motorola Razr, 2022 was a great year for foldables, but the year isn't over yet, and two more foldables could launch before 2023.

We're talking, of course, about the Oppo Find N2 and Oppo Find N2 Flip - Oppo's supposed rivals to the Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4, respectively.

From what we have heard from them so far, they are extremely doable and we should know all about them soon as they only have a few days to go. Below is everything we've heard about the Oppo Find N2 series so far.

Oppo Find N2 release date and price

According to popular publisher Panda Is Glatz, a Weibo post discovered by Playfuldroid announces the Oppo Find N2 and Oppo Find N2 Flip on December 15.

It appears to be a day after the start of the annual Oppo Inno Day event, and the timing would make sense as we've seen devices showcased at the event in the past, let alone the Oppo Find N. 15 last year.

Additionally, Digital Chat Station - another reliable leaker - previously said on Weibo that these phones will be available in mid-December. Therefore, December 15th seems very likely.

However, it should be noted that this version can only be applied to China. It's unclear if and when we'll see these phones in other regions, although publisher @UniverseIce has claimed that the Oppo Find N2 Flip will be available globally, while the Find N2 will not.

There's no word on how much the Oppo Find N2 will cost, but the original Find N was priced at ¥7,699 (approx, but be specific.

We have less idea what the Oppo Find N2 Flip might cost, but @UniverseIce says it won't cost more than the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4, which starts at $999.99 / £999 / AU$1,499.

Oppo Find N2 design and display

We know a lot more about the design of the Oppo Find N2 Flip than the standard Find N2, as renders and even a short hands-on video of the Flip have been released.

First, the Fenibook video was shared on Weibo, but you can see more of it in the GIF below shared by publisher @UniverseIce.

The phone is definitely in a case here, so some details are hidden, but you can see a design similar to the Galaxy Z Flip 4, but with a bigger screen. A dual-lens camera is also visible.

According to Digital Chat Station, the Oppo Find N2 Flip has a 3.26-inch OLED display, which will make it bigger than the 1.9-inch Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4. It also has a 6.8-inch 120Hz OLED with 1080p resolution. Resolution x 2520.

As for the flagship Oppo Find N2, the same source claims in another post that it will have a 7.1-inch 120Hz foldable display. Another post claims a resolution of 1792 x 1920, while the Find N2 has a 5.54-inch resolution of 1080 x 2120 ads. . Cover the screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

Interestingly, they also say that Oppo has produced some devices with leather cases, but most versions currently use glass, so it's unclear if the leather version will be available at retail.

Light for a foldable phone, @UniverseIce says it will also weigh less than 240 grams. For comparison, the original Oppo Find N weighs 275g, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 weighs 263g, and even the foldable iPhone 14 Pro Max weighs 240g.

Another self-proclaimed "experience plus" source elaborates, claiming it's 233g for the leather version and 237g for the glass model. They also claim that the Oppo Find N2 Flip weighs 191 grams.

Oppo Find N2 Camera and Battery

In posts spotted by Playfuldroid, Digital Chat Station also shed light on the Oppo Find N2's camera, saying it has a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor with a 114-degree field of view. and a 32-megapixel telephoto lens. With 2x optical zoom.

These appear to be the same cameras as the upcoming OnePlus 11, which is notable since foldable phones don't always match traditional flagships in terms of camera capabilities.

The source adds that the Oppo Find N2 appears to have optical image stabilization (OIS) on its main lens and benefits from the Hasselblad camera changes. The Find N2 also has a 32MP selfie camera on each screen.

According to Digital Chat Station in another Weibo post, the Oppo Find N2 Flip could have a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 32MP front camera.

In the same article, they claim that the Oppo Find N2 Flip has a 4300mAh battery that can charge at 44W, while elsewhere they say the standard Find N2 has 4520mAh, while another source says it charges 67W. .

Oppo Find N2 Specifications and Features

According to Digital Talk Station, the Oppo Find N2 packs a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chip, which is the best Android chip of 2022 (excluding the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which still has nothing). They also say it has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and will run Android 13, with Oppo's ColorOS 13 interface on top.

A Lekker also published screenshots of the phone, showing 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Elsewhere, a "more experience" post on Weibo claims that the phone's Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chip has been downgraded, so it may be slightly less powerful than normal.

The Oppo Find N2 Flip is expected to run Android 13 on top of ColorOS 13 and have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, but other features may vary. The same post as above says it has a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 Plus chip for the "Experience Plus".

Some sites are also reporting a Dimensity 9200 chipset, 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, but it's unclear where those specs came from. Either way, it's on its way to becoming some of the best foldable phones out there.
