A report by MyDrivers claims that the company plans to launch the updated version of the Redmi Note 11 series in October, and the device will go on sale on November 11. It is said that the company will announce only two products including Redmi Note 12 and Redmi Note 12 Pro. As per reports so far, the device may use a 6nm MediaTek Dimension chip and is said to be powered by the new Dimension 1300 SoC. Both phones have a 50-megapixel triple rear camera.
A popular Chinese digital chat site suggests that the rear camera module may include a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. Redmi is expected to support 120W fast charging technology. The company can support 120W fast charging. The devices are likely to feature a punch-hole display design, as we've seen in many phones this year.
While Redmi is not expected to bring the Redmi Note 12 series to India this year, the brand launched the Redmi Note 11 in February this year. It won't be revealed in China until 2022, then it will be announced in India in early 2023, which the company did this year.
As of now, there is no official confirmation of the launch date and specifications of the Redmi Note 12 series. The Redmi Note 12 series is expected to be priced at Rs 20,000 when it launches in India. To recall, the Redmi Note 11 series was launched in the country at a starting price of Rs 13,499 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model.
