Samsung not only offers discounts on its older products, but also on its latest and greatest flagships. Here's a curated list of the week's highlights, and we've found similar (if not better) deals at other retailers. Each of these options has been tested, reviewed, and tested by the WIRED Gear team

The Samsung Galaxy S23 (9/10, recommended by WIRED) is the latest flagship phone. It's a no-compromise, complete product, the latest and greatest from Samsung. All three phones in the S23 series (S23, S23+ and S23 Ultra) have bright, fluid 120Hz AMOLED displays and battery life of more than a day on a single charge. During testing, WIRED Editor-in-Chief Julian Chokkattu discovered that the real star was the triple camera system. This camera team offers exceptional low-light quality and perhaps the most stable video recording of any Android phone, and is well worth the extra money. This is the lowest price we've seen so far Note that Samsung will launch the Galaxy S24 series in January.
Samsung's Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra (7/10, recommended by WIRED) is a complete tablet with the best hardware of any Android device. It has a super bright screen with a consistent 120Hz refresh rate and modern internals that make the most of the hardware. Did we mention the 14.6-inch screen? There are not many tablets of this size. The pen is responsive and apps and games work great on this large screen.
The Z Flip5 (7/10, Wired recommends) isn't for everyone, it has some quirks (less than stellar battery life, for example), but it's a nice little phone. It folds up to the size of a stack of post-it notes and fits in the smallest pocket. It also has an external touch screen so you don't have to open it every time you get an alert. Samsung only offers the 512GB model at a discount, but it's cheaper at $970 on Amazon. The base 256GB model is a good deal, though it dropped to $800 on Black Friday.
The fifth version of Samsung's foldable flagship, the Galaxy Z Fold5 (7/10, recommended by WIRED), is one of the best foldable phones on the market. The cameras take great photos and the screens (both internal and external) are bright, colorful and responsive. When closed, the phone remains thick and heavy. According to WIRED Editor-in-Chief Julian Chokkattu, the external screen is still a bit narrow compared to the competition, and it stifles some apps. If you choose the 256 GB model, you can save even more.
Samsung's Galaxy Watch6 Classic (7/10, WIRED recommends) is a responsive smartwatch, and the mechanical surrounds make the interface fun to navigate. It works best with Samsung phones if you want the full health feature, but it also works with any Android phone. It's comfortable to wear and the battery life is better than Apple Watch or Pixel Watch. The non-classic model, which does not have a mechanical ring, is even cheaper.
Samsung's S95C QD-OLED TV (8/10, recommended by WIRED) has a fantastic screen that can handle very bright and very dark scenes with ease. There's a level of clarity here that you can read what Wired editor Parker Hall is saying, like through an open window. The screen has ultra-thin bezels that further enhance this TV's ability to fully immerse you in what you're watching.
There's still not a lot of content available for 8K TVs, but if you've got the money to spend and want the biggest and best TV on the market, you can't do much better than Samsung's QN900C TV (8/10, cable) ). ). recommended). The TV is lit by an array of mini LEDs, producing some of the most beautiful color and image processing we've ever seen.
The Samsung Galaxy Book3 Ultra (6/10, Wired review) is highly productive and surprisingly portable despite its 16-inch screen. It's lightweight, weighing one pound less than the M2 Max version of the 16-inch MacBook Pro. It also offers plenty of performance thanks to the Nvidia RTX 4050 inside. According to former Wired staffer Adam Speight, portability doesn't mean you don't have power. This thing can be configured to have absolutely high-end (and game-ready) internal hardware. It's a shame that the battery life, speakers and keyboard are poor.
