Redmi K70 Spotted On Geekbench With MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Chipset Ahead Of Official Launch

Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the Redmi K70 series in China, which includes three highly anticipated devices: Redmi K70e, Redmi K70, and Redmi K70 Pro. Recently, leaked official stock images of the Redmi K70 have surfaced online. Today, the MySmartPrice team spotted the device with model number 2311DRK48C on the Geekbench database. However, the codename suggests that it could also be the Redmi K70e.

The Redmi K70 reportedly scored 1,248 in the single-core test and 4,177 in the multi-core test. The listing includes Android 14, 15GB of RAM, a 3.35GHz CPU, and a Mali-G615 MC6 GPU, perhaps hinting at a future Dimension 8300 chip.

POCO F6 or Redmi K70?

The POCO device with model number 2311DRK481 recently appeared on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification page, indicating its debut in India as POCO F6. Interestingly, it corresponds to the model number 2311DRK48C associated with the Redmi K70. The expected launch of the POCO F6 is scheduled for the first quarter of 2024.

Considering Redmi's strategy in the past, where the base Redmi K60 was launched in India as POCO F5 Pro, it is speculated that two variants of the Redmi K70, K70 and K70E, could be launched globally under the POCO brand. However, the Redmi K70 Pro is expected to be exclusive to the Chinese market.

POCO F6 with model number 2311DRK48I was previously registered in the IMEI database. Additionally, the POCO F6 Pro comes with model numbers 23113RKC6G and 23113RKC6I.

It is important to be careful with original certificates, as they only provide limited information about the smartphone. Official confirmation is awaited for more precise and complete information.
