Several users took to Reddit to share an update to the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 series (via Android Authority ), which arrived just days after the One UI 5 Watch was released. It brings the July 2023 security update along with a number of new features and changes aimed at improving the user experience.

According to 9to5Google, the update's build number ends with HWH3 and is currently only available for US watch models. However, the update will roll out to other regions soon.

Key updates to One UI 5 Watch include the ability to pair the Galaxy Watch with a new phone without a full factory reset. You can also control the volume of incoming calls or mute them, as well as enable (or disable) 360-degree sound on Galaxy Buds with the new Buds controller tiles.
