Technoblade Fans Raise $500,000 For Cancer Research To Honor Late Minecraft Streamer
Fans of Minecraft creator Technoblade recently raised $500,000 for cancer research. The 23-year-old Minecraft adventurer passed away on June 30, 2022 after a long battle with stage four cancer.
Technoblabe launched the Minecraft YouTube channel in October 2013. He is best known for playing the character of the crowned boar in the game. His popularity continued to rise when he joined the Dream SMP server where he had a friendly competition with other Minecraft Dream players . Technoblade currently has over 15 million subscribers on YouTube and over 866,000 on his Twitch channel. Technoblade would like to thank its fans and the friends it has made over the years.

After Technoblade's death, his community, along with other Minecraft players like Dream and TommyInnit, spent months raising money for cancer research. They were able to raise a total of $500,000, which will be donated to the Sarcoma Foundation of America. Technoblade appears to have supported the nonprofit and its goal of raising awareness of sarcoma and funding research to help patients.
The Saudi Sports for All Federation also posted a "Technoblade Tribute" on their website. The organization mourned Technoblad's recent passing, stating that he will remain in their hearts forever after his personal battle with sarcoma.
